![]() ![]() Her little personal anecdote may as well have been my favorite part of the volume. Satoru Yamaguchi is so sweet in the acknowledgements. Good stuff overall-and are you seriously saying I have to wait who-knows-how-long for the next volume? I may start going into Katarina withdrawals if I cannot read the next one in a timely manner…įav quote: “More than future wife and husband, Mary and Alan looked like a crime boss and her lowly thug” Finally, Dewey’s growing on me and Maria gets a little time in the spotlight. As a staunch member of #teamjeord, I’m thoroughly pleased with this volume’s contents in that department (although you Keith apologists may find some things to satiate you as well). The main plot is advanced along a little as well, but this volume’s primary focus is in its characters. Romance-wise, nothing ever quite lives up to volume 8, but there were a couple of scenes here and there I bookmarked. I was really surprised by some of the insight we got into our lovely Bakarina, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out in future volumes. I once said I sensed Katarina character development on the horizon and, lo and behold, we got it! Sorta. Hamefura volume 11 kicks off to a roaring start. I expected a lot of fluff and a lot of fun, and for the most part, this installment delivered. In reality this is more of a four star volume as far as this series goes, but I’m giving it a 5 stars purely for the sheer amount of joy that fills me up when I go into a new Hamefura volume. ![]()
